N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- The US Embassy in Kathmandu will provide student visas without interviews until December 31 for those who meet the eligibility criteria. But they must have obtained any type of visa in the past.
From now on, F, J, and M visa applicants will be provided visas without an interview, the embassy said.
Must be a citizen of Nepal or have resided in Nepal for the past 6 months to obtain an interview waiver on F, M, and J visas, must have been issued any type of US visa in the past, have not had any last visa application rejected, the previous visa revoked, stolen Criteria must be met, including what should be or should not be lost.
Similarly, if the name, date of birth, place of birth, and nationality of the person applying for the visa have not changed in the past, then if there has been any change, proper reasons have to be given. Must have complied with U.S. immigration laws during past visits to the United States. Visas issued in the past do not have to be student visas; those who have been issued any type of nonimmigrant visa can obtain a student visa without an interview.
The applicant will have to create an online profile first. Then you have to go through the application process. You will have to print one of the six interview confirmation letters and submit your documents to one of the six document delivery centers. Visa can be obtained after submitting all the documents including the passport to the delivery center. There will be no need to make an appointment at the embassy.
Online interview waiver letter, passport of at least 6 months duration, last US visa passport, confirmation page filled with DS160, fee paid receipt, photo taken within 6 months, copy of I20 and original transcript, original DS for J visa Documents including 2019 will have to be submitted. The photo must be different from the one used on the previous visa.
