Lottery applications for US worker visas will be open from March 9


N24 Correspondent, WASHINGTON:- The US Government’s USCIS has announced a deadline to apply for the Lottery for Worker Visa H1B. Preliminary applications are open from March 9 to March 25.

During this period, any applicant or representative wishing to make an initial application for a work visa for the Fiscal Year 2022 H1B will be able to register online by filling in the details of the worker who wants to sponsor the visa.

USCIS states that a registration number will be provided for each timely registration.

To register, you need to use USCIS online account and pay a registration fee of $10.00 On behalf of your potential workers.

US applicants or agents applying will be required to use a registrant account as they are registered. USCIS has stated that it will be available soon.

Similarly, if the employer employs legal representatives, such representatives will be able to add the client company to their account.

However, the details of the potential worker can be filled and submitted only after March 9. Similarly, the $10.00 fee can be paid only after March 9.

Employer applicants or representatives will be able to include in one online session the details of many who want to bring in a worker visa at once.

Such details may be edited before the final fee is paid and before submission. But after submitting after paying the fee, editing will not be possible.

If enough applications are received by March 25, the applicant will be notified by the lottery system by March 31, USCIS said.

Only in the case of selected beneficiaries will the process of worker visa then proceed.
