N24 Correspondent, WASHINGTON:- The online registration period for US worker visa H-1B has expired. The online registration started on March 9 and ended at 12 noon on Thursday.

Registration for the Fiscal Year 2022 is open through USCIS’s online system.

It is said that the lottery system will be adopted for the selection of applications till March 31. From the first lottery, 65,000 regular quotas will be selected. From the second lottery, 20,000 under the advanced degree will be selected.

Those selected will be able to apply for a visa from April 1. Applications can be submitted by June 30. USCIS will not accept delayed applications.

In the case of those selected, the employer company in the United States will take the process forward. Those who have registered online but have not been selected in the first lottery can be selected in the next lottery if they do not receive enough visa applications.

The registration number is provided for every timely registration. Registration is subject to a $ 10 fee using USCIS online account.

The US government has been issuing H-1B worker visas to 85,000 people every year. For that, the government has been conducting a lottery system. An online registration system was introduced last year.

After the initial registration of the American company online, if selected, the process for the overseas worker to come to the United States begins.

For example, if a person is in Nepal and is selected online after being offered a job by an American company, the employer company in the United States will take the process forward.

And, if the application is approved by USCIS, the person in Nepal can come to the United States with a worker visa.

Employers can offer jobs to those who have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the United States or outside the United States. But those with an American degree are given special priority.

For a position to come through an H1N1 visa, the worker must have at least a bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent.

The work done in the company is so complex or unique that only a person with a degree can do it. Or a degree must be a confirmation of the general criteria for the company’s work. This means that if the company does not need a degree, it must confirm why a degree holder is needed, or the company must have a degree.

The company must confirm that the worker usually needs a degree or similar qualification for the position. Or, the nature of the work is so specific or complex that the knowledge required for the job requires a bachelor’s degree or higher.

Similarly, the beneficiary or worker who gets the job must have fulfilled one of the four qualifications.

Beneficiaries must have a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in the United States. It doesn’t matter if you have returned home after obtaining a degree in the United States.

Or you must have a foreign degree to be recognized as a bachelor’s degree or higher in the United States.

Or, you must be licensed by the state to work in a special profession. A license that allows you to practice a particular profession.

Or, should have received any thematic education or training. Which is like a special degree. In this case, you must be an expert in the relevant subject.

Generally, employers and beneficiaries who meet these criteria can benefit from the US worker visa H-1B.
