N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- Vaccines are being made mandatory for entry into the United States after November 8. For that, the United States will only recognize vaccines approved by the FDA and the World Health Organization in the United States.
According to the Chinese vaccines Cyanoform (Vero cell) and Synovac (Coronavac) will be allowed to enter the United States, while the Russian vaccine Sputnik will not be allowed to enter the United States.
The largest corona vaccine in Nepal, Vero cell, is being distributed under Sinoform. Apart from that, those who have been vaccinated with Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will also be allowed to enter the United States.
They must submit a valid visa to enter the United States, a negative report of corona collected within three days, and proof that they have been fully vaccinated.
After November 8, even unvaccinated Americans will be subject to strict entry rules, while non-vaccinated non-Americans will be barred from entering the United States.
Americans who have not been vaccinated will be allowed to enter the United States after November 8 but will have to undergo a corona test and a negative report the day before boarding the flight back to the United States.
They will also have to follow additional rules, including corona testing after they arrive in the United States.
Foreigners who have not been vaccinated after November 8 will not be allowed to come to the United States even after submitting a negative report of the corona test without proof of having been vaccinated so far.
